IVF MORE® is a technique of Instituto Ingenes: over 20 years, more than 75,000 babies delivered, branches across Mexico and the United States, and laboratories accredited by REDLARA (Latin American Network of Assisted Reproduction).
A technique like IVF MORE® does not come out of a clinic that outsources its laboratory. It comes out of an institute that owns one, does research in it, and has been running it for more than twenty years.

The difference is not size, it is what happens behind the doors. A clinic applies protocols. An institute develops them, trains the people who will apply them, and answers to a committee that reviews what it does.

Its own laboratory
Planned and built to international standards, with external auditing. It is what makes the metabolic diagnosis of each egg, egg restoration and culture in magnetic fields possible: developed in house, not an off-the-shelf commercial protocol.

Research and postgraduate training
Ingenes runs postgraduate programmes to train specialists in assisted reproduction, and its team's work has been published in international scientific journals. IVF MORE® comes out of that line of work.

Bioethics committees
Hospital bioethics committees oversee and resolve what arises in practice and in research, under Mexico's General Health Law. In reproductive medicine that is not decoration: it is what sets the limit on what can be offered.
The results behind it
Ingenes handles the largest number of assisted reproduction cases in Latin America, and it publishes its figures.
Success rate
- Up to 96% probability of success on the Multicycle Programmes, which combine two to four IVF cycles in a single treatment
- 10% above United States clinics in babies born through IVF with the patient's own eggs

Each attempt is reassessed by the full team before the next one, which is where the multicycle scheme gets its advantage.

Who develops IVF MORE® and who performs it
IVF MORE® is a technique by Dr. Shoukhrat Mitalipov, biologist and university professor in Oregon, developed in collaboration with Ingenes. He travelled to Mexico City to train the Ingenes embryology team himself, and they are the ones who apply it.
More than 19 babies have been born through this technology, and the results are in the process of being published in high-impact scientific journals.
The technique is performed in Mexico City only.
It is the one Ingenes laboratory equipped for IVF MORE®: latest-generation micromanipulation, high-resolution microscopy and the devices that generate the controlled magnetic fields.

A note on expectations
Reproductive medicine works with probabilities, never with guarantees. IVF MORE® requires at least one mature egg and is not always applicable.
